Born and raised in South Africa, Linda brings a rich cultural background and a deep appreciation for the freedoms and opportunities available in the United States. Her life experiences have shaped a strong commitment to education, community, and service.

Linda’s educational journey began with her graduation from Vall High School in South Africa. She initially pursued a career in healthcare, completing her training as a Registered Nurse and Midwife. Her passion for helping others and her desire to better understand the needs of individuals and families led her to pursue further education.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies with a minor in Counseling and Psychology from Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, followed by a Master’s degree in Counseling from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. Continuing her commitment to academic excellence, Linda also completed a Master of Divinity degree from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.

Driven by her passion to better understand human behavior and provide effective support for individuals and families, Linda later earned a Doctorate in Psychology from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. Her extensive training in psychology has equipped her with the skills and insight necessary to address the complex challenges facing individuals, families, and communities.

Linda’s professional career has included a variety of roles in education and counseling. She established and successfully operated a private counseling practice in Lincoln, Nebraska for ten years, where she provided compassionate mental health services to individuals and families. During this time, she also taught English as a Second Language (ESL) in Lincoln, reflecting her commitment to helping people from diverse backgrounds succeed and thrive.

Her dedication to education led her to serve as Department Chair and Professor of the Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health program at Grace University. In that role, she mentored and trained future mental health professionals while emphasizing the importance of supporting families and protecting the well-being of children.

Linda is an active member of Lord of Hosts Church in Millard, Nebraska, where she values the strong sense of faith and community.
